1. How do I know which therapy to choose?
As many different
therapies can help the same conditions (eg if you
have backache should you have a massage, see an osteopath or receive an
acupuncture treatment?) this is a question that is often asked
The answer depends very much on you as an
individual; someone may
have recommended a particular treatment or practitioner to
you. Alternatively, you may feel more or less comfortable with the different
types of treatment available. It is also dependent on the specifics of
your condition – for example backache covers a multitude of
different symptoms
All the practitioners at New Street are happy to
help by answering any questions you may have. Many of us have worked
together for a period of time and have a good working understanding of
each others disciplines

2. How do I know if a
practitioner is qualified?
All
practitioners at New Street
Clinic are qualified – if you wish for specific details of
their qualifications each practitioner would be happy to provide them.

3. Why do different practitioners charge different fees?
Each practitioner at New Street
Clinic decides on their own fee scale – this will be
dependent on many things including their individual therapy, the amount
of experience they have and the timescales of their treatment
programme

4. Are you covered by BUPA/ HSA…?
This varies according to different
therapies
and individual practitioners.

5. Do you take credit cards?
Payment is made to each individual
practitioner so it will depend on whom you see. At present however most
practitioners take cheques or cash only.
